Hi guys, I am back! My blog hasn't died yet. I have been disappearing time to time as we were busy planning for our Solemnisation, reading emails and following up with our coordinator closely as we were getting close to our big day.

Just a few days before our ROM, I was scrolling through Beauty Undercover , looking for a recommended salon to dye my hair.  As a budget person myself, I looked through the list of salons which were having promotions and comparing the price they offered. After looking at some reviews and photos, I decided to make an appointment with J7 Image. The very next day, I message them through FB messenger to make the appointment. It was totally fuss free and their response was prompt.

We arrived at J7 at around 12pm and one of the staff attended to us. She ushered us to the seats and asked if we wanted any water. After a while, the hair stylist, Sherlin came to attend me and asked if what I would like to do. As my ROM is near, I need a good dye and simple hair trimming. She recommended me a rather dark ash green since it would be a 'safe' colour.

J7 - Neat and bright layout. They are located at level 5.

Without further ado, she went to the back to mix the dye.

My hair was dry after few rounds of dye and bleach. The colour totally faded off and it feels heavy.

I was wondering how it would look like after the dye as I was afraid the colour wouldn't look good on me. But still, I trust the reviews as it was well recommended on the website.

And the dye process began.

Before the dye began, I remember her saying about the Olaplex treatment and how it wouldn't hurt my hair, but anyway, I went along with it, burning another $30 in my pocket to feel 'good'.

I sat there for like 30 minutes, with some kind of machine emitting heat around my hair. :| Not sure what was that.

With that machine, it definitely quickened the process of dying.

The massage was good and comfortable that I almost fell asleep.

After blowing my hair dry, I could see that my hair is regaining the healthy and shiny look.

Can't see the ash green from the photo but at least I don't look like an ah lian.

When my hair is completely dry, Sherlin went on to advise how she would be trimming my hair. As I told her that my hair is rather flat and heavy, she recommended me layering the inner layers of my hair etc. As I was no expert in this area, I let her do what it deems fits.

And overall, I am a happy and satisfied customer.

And you see the difference?!

Ok, I should show the front look. Can you see any green tint at the end of my hair?

My love also did his haircut there. As his makeover wasn't as extreme, I shall not post his photos here :X

Overall, the total cost of haircut cost around $230. Also, they are not pushy in telling you to buy their shampoo or doing extra hair treatment.

By now, I believe everyone would know that Love and I are calling off the wedding next year. It's not because of any third party or we had any disagreement, it is because of my family situation.

There are lots of complications going on like settling my mum burial matters, finding a suitable date within the 100 days of my mum's death, searching for a suitable JP who is available for our ROM, informing M Hotel that we are not able to proceed our wedding next year, informing our bridal studio to call off the gown trying session etc.

Calling off our wedding ... ...

It definitely doesn't feel right to go through the traditional wedding as we all know in Chinese custom, it would not be good for new couples. However, we still have to go through the Solemnization as our house would be ready next month. After settling my mum's funeral and other miscellaneous stuffs, we finally had the time to contact our coordinator, Fiona, to inform her of our situation.

Previously, we paid the deposit of $5,000 to secure the date and banquet for next year but now, we won't be holding our wedding anymore. We called to check with Fiona if anything could be done to help us as $5,000 is not a small sum. Initially, we were hoping that M Hotel would be able to do a full refund so that we can use the money to hold a small family event somewhere else in another restaurant. But hotels are not charity, they run a business based on profit and returns. Since we redraw the wedding 6 months before our big day, M Hotel is only able to refund half the amount, which is a mere $2,500. All these were written in the contract before we signed. therefore there is no way we can argue and win this case even if we take this to court. Love and I were left with 2 choices:

1) To take back our $2,500 and  hold our solemnization somewhere else or
2) To hold our ROM in M Hotel and maximizes our deposit.

Logically, we seems rightful to go for the second choice.  After we informed Fiona of our decision, she sent a list of ROM package for our reference. For the solemnization, we can choose buffet or seat-down style, with minimum number of people or tables. We do have a 1 night stay at a deluxe room (not bridal room), free flow of tea and soft drinks and the whole of reception area. Wine and beer are charged separately but there is a waiver of corkage fee. All these are decent enough as at the end of the day, we do not hold much bargaining power.

Fiona gave us a function room at B1, which can easily hold 4-5 tables. 1 table is estimated to be $950 ++. We are able to almost maximize our deposit, perhaps adding a few bottles of wine and canapes would hit $5.000. Carpark coupons were given based on the number of guests attending. Not sure if there would be door gift but we might be asking for it.

To us, to hold a ROM with $5,000 is way too expensive. Not at least to the people whom i know unless left with no choice.

Alright, signing off here, will provide more update on our solemnization soon.
About a few weeks back, I turned 27. 3 more years and I will hit 30s. As I grow older, my social circle streamlined. My friends and I met lesser and lesser but whenever we meet, we would have endless topics to talk about and time wasn't enough. Topics would evolve from gossiping other classmates in school to discussing about marriage and HDB. Our priorities change as we grow. During weekends, I would most probably spend time with my family and playing with my niece.

On my birthday, I took half day off to enjoy my worth. Work is endless and emails flows to my mailbox like water every seconds. At the end of the day, work is just work. "You never know when company stops loving you". And at noon, love picked me up from office to have brunch at The Reading Room. The Reading Room seems like a perfect place to wind down. It is located at Bukit Pusoh Road,a proximate distance to Outram Park. We chose that place because it has good reviews on the cosy ambiance.

It is a bit hard to locate The Reading Room as the entrance is just so small and so was the board. Didn't notice the board until I exited.

A homely settings with laid back sofa, surrounded with books one arm away.

The cafe was relatively small and I would estimate that it would hold no more than 70 people. Though it was small, they serve quite a variety of western foods and wine. I ordered a teriyaki chicken and Love ordered a Lobster pasta. The fried portobello was really good and I would love to order it again if i'm back there.

I had never before surround myself with books as I am not the type of person who is into reading. During my secondary days, I read Chinese novel.. Erm, you know whose type with a picture of a pretty lady face on the book cover and one book cost like a $3-$5 in popular? Honestly speaking, those are romantic novel but some would of course contain explicit content. But apart from that, I do occasionally read decent English storybooks which are seriously famous like Dan Brown, or Harry Potter? That was perhaps the last kind of books I read.

Caught Xiong instagram-ing

See the amount of books they have in the cafe.

You can read these books for free but remember, please put it back at the same place for the convenience of other readers. I am wondering if there are patrons who just go there to order a drink and read a book and come back another day to finish the entire content. As for us, we were just there for photo-taking.

When lunch was over, we went over to The Cathay to catch a movie, starring Jackie Chan. Time passed quickly when we were sitting in the movie theater, staring at the big screen and doing nothing . Sometime, it is just this type of non-moving activities makes the best day rather walking aimlessly in shopping malls, hoping from shops to shops and walked out empty-handed. I have kinda lost touch with the hippest fashion where young people goes to or the popular blogshop where young adults shop. To me, everything just come from Taobao. If I need a dress, I get from Taobao; if I need a vase, I get from Taobao; If I need speaker, I get from Taobao too.

Alright, we took a final photo in front of the cafe. Memorable.

This photo de soft skin effect very strong.

If you want can't locate The Reading Room, just take note of these potted plants in front of the entrance. Only then you will find your way there.

In 2 days time it would be my mum's 1st month death anniversary. My dad and I were back to our usual working schedule. On weekends, my sister and brother in law would come back to pray to my mum. We are still doing mum's 49 days and it would end after National Day.

Our house has been rather quiet without mum's presence. Now, when dad is back, he would pray to gods , after which, sit in front of the TV, watch some drama before taking his dinner. In the past, mum would wait for him to be home before they had dinner together. If dad is home late, I  would have dinner with mum in the kitchen. Ever since I started working, I realized that home cooked food tastes better than anywhere outside. Everyday after a day of hardwork, I would look forward going home to see what my mum cooks. Though it last only 4 years, but that was the best time of my life with her.

Her sudden dead still haunts me when I am alone. I couldn't forget that day when she had breathing difficulties at home. We called the ambulance and drove to the A&E immediately. As expected, she was admitted in the hospital. I remembered vividly what happened on a Sunday night. It was heart-breaking and painful when you see your mum pulling out the oxygen mask but gasping for air when she was not reliant on the oxygen. There was not a lot of doctors around during weekend and we were just on our own. We stayed by her side through the night. She fought for her life till she gave up her last breathe on a Monday's night.

After her passing, we have lots of work to do. We have to find a place for her in Mandai, pick her bones, do some prayer for her etc. We also have to inform HDB of her passing, withdrawal of her CPF to her nominations, the bank accounts etc.

As for me, I am cancelling my wedding on 5th Jan 2017 and will be doing our ROM on 16th Sept. We will be doing it within 100 days for our sake. Honestly speaking, me and Love do not have much time left but I am glad that he is always here whenever I need him around.  He took a week leave to help out on mum's wake which I really appreciate a lot.

Counting down to 2 months, love and I have to settle on a number of things like the number of guests coming for our ceremony, choosing our outfit for our ROM, settling on our wedding bands, finding Justice of Peace who is available on the Friday and upcoming house renov which we should be getting in the 3rd quarter this year.

Hopefully, all will go smoothly. Mum, please bless us. ...

Getting on with life

Life is unpredictable. Everyone says : Live your life to the fullest. Life is short. Time wait for no man. Don't waste your life away. Death is not frightening, but what about being terminally ill? I've heard people saying comforting words like : Now technology is so advanced, don't need scare one, doctors can treat, they are so smart!

There are many cancer patients out there fighting for their life everyday. Battling emotionally and physically is not easy because its a war between life and death. I've heard stories from the hospital and seen with my own eyes on how much care is put into caring for cancer patients. I used to have subtle understanding about charity drive as I was unable to feel or empathize them because no one in my family was sick. However, I still do donate because when I was young, my mum or dad would gave me coins to put in that steel container and I would collect the sticker from the volunteers. When I was 15, our school organised a fund raising program for Down Syndrome. It was a compulsory event because we have to fulfill some thing (which I can't remember the name) and no one was able to be excused. We went under the hot sun, asking for donation and at time, putting some coins inside so that I wouldn't lose out to other classmates who had more coins than me. It was until when I got older, I got to understand why charity drives are important. It was not the fun, but the money donated by public could really make the difference to each family. Because my mum was diagnosed with cancer.

It all happened 10 years ago. My mum was a healthy plump and strong woman who was not afraid of cold. I used to hide beside her to get her body warmth. However, things changed after she had a fall. She was only 46 then. A fall at that age seem to be nothing to be worried about but changed all our life since then.

She was all good until one day, she realised that there are blood contents in her urine. She went to the doctor and doctor gave her some medicine for urinary infection. It was a common for women to have urinary infection and the doctor did not think otherwise. She took for a while but blood still appeared. Then one day, after urinating, she found some solid particles in the toilet bowl. She felt that something is amiss and she brought the sample to doctor. Our GP wrote a referral letter and told my mum to go to the SGH immediately.

And she was admitted, took the necessary scan and test but doctor could not find what was wrong. In the end, doctor suggested an operation so that they can see what was happening in her body. I was having my lecture when my mum had an operation at 3pm. It was a very long operation and my mum came out only like hours and hours later. All of us were waiting to hear what the doctor have to say. Upon opening up the abdomen, doctor found that her bladder had shifted downwards near her intestine and as such, the friction between the bladder and intestine had caused a hole on the intestine, which was why there are solid particles in her urine. On top of that, near the intestine, they had removed the tumor of the size of golf ball. Part of her intestine was rotten and it had to be removed. My mum was put under ICU after the operation. All these doesn't end here, she has to go through test and test to see if the cancer has spread and if chemo was needed etc. Going through all the test and it resulted that my mum had a stage 4 cancer, where the cancer cells had entered lymph nodes. She needed to go for chemotherapy. My sis and I used to accompany her to the hospital for her chemotherapy and each session lasted 2 hours. It was a dripping medicine and we waited patiently for her to end the session before going home. After a few months, she was better and we were almost back to our daily life. During that time, my love and I brought them to Bangkok, then to Taiwan, and to Batam. It was the best time of our life being able to bring the old folks overseas.

However, all good things don't last. After 3-4 years, her cancer relapsed and this time, the cancer cells spread to her lungs. They attacked her both lungs and the larger tumor was found growing on one of her lung. She needed to go for another operation again and it took off some weight from her. After the operation, she had to go for radiotherapy everyday until the cancer cells were reduced or under controlled. During that time, I accompanied her to the hospital almost everyday though the radiotherapy was just a mere 5 minutes. Then, I know that I cannot afford to lose her. Since then, I was not the deficient teenager but a daughter who would try my best to fulfill her wishes and bring her around Singapore and taking her to restaurants she wanted to try. That was the best time of our life. Since my sister gave birth to her first child, she would stay home to rest and asking my sis if she would be back with her grandchild.

Over the years, my mum's health deteriorates and last year, she fell ill again, admitting to the hospital for the X times. She was in a bad shape, never had I see her lost a weight to just 45kg. Doctor said that her lung was injured from the previous operation and it had caused her lung to be deflated. She was on antibiotic and some dripping to god I know what those were. Through CT scan and X-ray, Doctor said that her lung had punctured, which caused them to have air and water. During that 3 weeks stay, she had tubes from the side of her body, pumping the water and air pump out from the lung. But all and all, her right lung collapsed and she was left with left lung to stay alive, Doctors told us to be mentally prepared for they see that my mum was only left with half-life.

But amazing, she pulled through that horrendous incident and she was discharged. Besides being skinny, she looked pretty good. After her discharge, my sis and I planned a 3 days 2 night stay at Sentosa Siloso Resort during the long weekend on National Day. We visited the Wax Museum, the Singapore Image and Sand of Time, whichever event was on. We were so happy as the 3 generations spend our time together. In September, my mum and I went to Port Dickson to have a short break with the rest of our relatives. Life has never been this perfect with my mum.

Over the last 1 year, she had also admitted to the hospital a few times but all seems alright except last week. Last Saturday, mum woke up, almost choking. I asked her what happened she said that her saliva /phlegm is choking on her, making her difficult to breathe. She was already on oxygen but that doesn't help. After much contemplation, I suggested calling an ambulance to send her to AnE. Staying at home doesn't help as we do not have any equipment or medicine to help her. I was worried. Immediately, we packed her bag (as the usual), called the ambulance and took necessary documents with us. After 30-45 minutes, the ambulance came and drove us to SGH with speed you can never imagine with. I heaved a breathe of relief as I knew my mum should be getting some help from the Doctors. We waited 2-3 hours outside the AnE, hoping the doctors would come out and brief us on my mum's condition. Then we were informed that she had a minor heart attack. We had expected mum to be admitted. My brother, Xiong and I left the hospital after we knew that mum would be admitted.

When I returned the next day, I saw my mum lying on the bed, feeling drowsy with on the oxygen, I felt something amiss. She looked totally different from the previous time she was admitted to hospital. I expected her to be well and good, looking and chatting with me like the usual whenever she admitted hospital but it wasn't. I go to her ears and wake her up gently. That was when she slowly open her eyes subconsciously. I was afraid. Never had I seen her this way. As times goes by, the nurses increases her dosages and giving her the maximum oxygen they could but her blood pressure and oxygen level keep falling. From time to time her hands and legs are getting colder and stiffer. She was getting unconscious each hour and at times, she broke into cold sweat but she couldn't tell us anything as the phlegm was stuck in her throat. Eventually , we lost the way to communicate.

The next morning, Doctor came to tell us that mum would go within these 2 days...

My cousin taught me to tell her to use signals instead, if it is a yes, she could squeeze my hands. So I merely asked her 4 questions: Do you want to see dad? Yes. Do you feel uncomfortable? Yes. Are you still hanging on? Yes. Do you want to go home? Yes. With these, I told my brother to call my dad immediately. My sister, brother, me and Xiong had a rough night as my mum kept pulling off the oxygen mask. She might have something to tell us but without the oxygen, she would be in a dangerous state. As each hour passed, my mum became deep in her sleep and more often, she would once a while tried her best to open her eyes.. The last time she closed her eye was when she saw my family by her bedside, including baby Eng.

By 7pm, the interval of her breathing became longer, and slower.. Her wrist were cold and feet were totally stiffed despite the socks were on. We held on to her hands and stayed by her side until she left... ...

No amount of words can explain when I saw my mum stopped breathing... After she passed on, we informed all our relatives and friends who want to come to see her the last time.. Me and Love went home to take her favorite clothes so that the nurses could wash her up and put her in her clothes. The next day, we held her wake at the void deck below our block. She was cremated last Friday and now, she is sitting in my living room, her photo facing the TV everyday.

I missed her so much that I will just think of her whenever my mind was unoccupied. From the day I was born, she had never let me go to school hungry or leave by my side for more that 1 week (unless she go holiday). I knew that she would be home whenever I come home. With her, anywhere is home. She taught me things that no one will, and set an example to me so that I could grow up to be one person who will set an example to my children.

There were so much words I would want to say to her, even if it was just some small chats. Now, I could only keep the best memories of her in my mind and heart. Miss you dearly Mum...

I was stuck at My Seoulisic post at Day 1 since weeks ago and right now I am no where doing any update. I was busy. Really busy with many stuffs and when I have some time for myself, all I want to do is to be crouch potato. Just last 2 weeks ago, Love was busy with his brother's wedding.

First and foremost, a big congratulations to Linda and Chris! They have finally married after 8-9 years of dating. 8-9 years! That's very long alright! Me and Xiong were only together for about 3-4 years? And we are getting married next year.

Alright, back to topic. I woke up to early morning on that Saturday morning, got myself prepared and Xiong drove me to bride's house before making his way to his brother's house in Punggol. I was her bride of honour and I should be pretty busy that day haha. I mended her nails while she was doing her make up.

Credits to the Bride!

The make up artist from Whitelink, Sammi got her beautifully make up for the day. After a good 2 hours, the make up and hair-do is done. Meanwhile, the sisters were busy setting up and preparing last minute decor for the gate crash. Also, helping each other to put on the corsages and pretty headband for the sister! As we were all looking damned great in the morning, we were taking selfies and more selfies!
Me and Selina.

Introducing the rest of the sisters:
The rest of the sisters: Jing yi , Fiona and Selina.

At 7.50am, the "brothers" finally reached the bride's place. They were spamming horns like nobody business, not afraid to disturb the neighbors' beauty sleep. As all Chinese wedding SOP, there will be a young boy to open the door for the groom, the photographer and videographer would be there to capture the moments, and creating some mini clips for the morning highlights. I wasn't sure if the video shoot was shot without any NGs but that definitely ate into the gatecrash time. After some time, the guys arrived and it's time for GATECRASH!

One of the sister, Fiona, had put in lots of effort in making this gatecrash a success one. She bought lots of decorative stuffs from her highly raved and visited Daiso store. If Daiso were to have a commercial, I would recommend her to be the lead actress. Most of the handicraft props were prepared by her.  * Thumbs up*

The gatecrash was super simple (IMO). We have the usual Sour, Spicy, Bitter and Sweet section. We prepared some funny games for them: For example, waxing their legs while they were biting the lemons. Passing the spicy cuttlefish with their mouth and making them kiss each other on the lips, making the brothers do some yoga pose while drinking the bitter tea with the groom's feeding them blindfolded. It was really fun but all of us were sweating as the weather was really hot. We can feel the merciless heatwave even though we were indoor. Upon entering the house, we made them dance some sexy moves (you know those type we see in K music) to entertain the guests.

At 9am, we left the bride's place and went over to Groom's house.

The newly wed couple had the Tea Ceremony and the groom's house. As the maid of honour, I was taking note on who and who gave the ang baos and helping them to keep those valuable in the bag. Love's family was really small and the Tea Ceremony ended in just an hour.

Then, we took some selfie again.

Pardon for my messy hair.

Before going to there, the couples had some photos in the Waterway Point for keepsake.

Ok, this photo was taken my me.

The Waterway Point management was kind enough to off the fountain for them so that the water wouldn't get in their way. At a point of time, they even release the smoke so that the PG and VG could take some amazing photos.

Selfie

After finishing the Tea Ceremony ended at the groom's place, we rushed over to the bride's house as we were running out of time.

Tea Ceremony gown. It was really pretty!

Like I say, the weather was so hot that we felt our make-up melting. What's worst was that I felt my nu-bra was slipping off as my body was almost soaked in water. Luckily, it managed to hand on until we reached home at about 1,30pm.

Love and I didn't take much photo together as there was really no time. After the Tea ceremony was over at bride's house, each of us slowly made our way home to prepare our outfit for the wedding dinner.

Pretty bride and us!

We went home and have a short break before dolling ourselves up for the dinner at night. Xiong managed to get a wink (for an hour?) For me, I had to remove my makeup, bathed, ironed our clothes and put on my makeup again. I had no time to waste as we had to be there at about 4.30pm for the briefing from the banquet manager.

Finally a photo together.

At 5pm, all of the banquet staffs were getting busy laying out the utensils, testing out the AV system and making sure everything is well and working for the dinner. Their vendor, Imperfections were also there to lay out the decorations at the reception table.

The LOVE was so big and Xiong and there were many people posting with the letters.

They had this mini Eiffel Tower but i did not take a photo of it. And the angbao box was the 囍 letter. Really cute! The changing room was just behind the banquet, arranged by MBS. The couples need not walk all the way to their hotel room to get changed for their 2nd march in. For their convenience, a partition room was done up next to the dinner. Near 6pm, the guests were slowly streaming in and all of them started to fill up the reception area. After her makeup was done, the both of us walked out from the changing room .... and were shock to see the number of people who were already there.

But there is no time to waste. The moment the pretty bride appeared at the reception, all the relatives and friends came forward to congratulate her, shaking hands, hugging her and taking photos. It is a joyous event, seeing all the guests coming together to celebrate this once in a life time event. While me, trying to grab her gown train in case anyone accidentally stepped on it or if being hooked on any wire. Well, I think I'm good at it.

At 7.30pm, the reception was so crowded that we felt that it was time to open the ballroom. They have almost 99% of full attendance (Not sure if anyone did not attend their wedding). The whole wedding went pretty well and without hiccups.

Showing the groom's brothers.

It was sure a fun and tiring day for the newly wed. Counting down to our wedding, we left like erm... 7 months to our Big day? I felt that I am taking my time slow and wasn't thinking anything on what we should be preparing. However, at least we are hunting for a wedding band now...
Hi guys, I guess its about to keep up my blogging habits. I have been away for a while, putting up my blog post for like 1-2 times a month. But please remember, my blog is still alive.

My Seoul trip was a relaxing one. Love and I went there between 4 March to 10 March. Seoul is freezing cold but it was a good experience. We planned our holiday in March partially because I need to clear my leave by March, also, it's been a while since we had gone for a holiday after my job change.

Seoul Relaxing!

SQ was having a promotion: Two to go during January and Love and I decided to go Seoul as the ticket was about $1,500 for 2 return trips. We booked the tickets, search for accommodation, booked another domestic flight from Busan to Incheo, bought some warm pack and there we were ready for Seoul. We decided to stayed at Myeongdong as it was a bustling area. The hotels in Seoul are fairly above my budget and I decided to search for an apartment in Airbnb. Airbnb offers a good selection of apartment at affordable price (SGD100+ / night) and you get to stay in an apartment yourself.

Love was excited as it was his maiden flight on SQ. We stayed awake throught the journey as there were many new movies. After watch 2 movies (and some toilet breaks in between), we had finally reached Incheon. Well, the air-stewardess job was to keep passenger busy (asking if we need water, food, help to clear rubbish, in-flight purchases, etc) so that that our journey wouldn't be so boring.

Upon reaching Incheon, we went straight to the bus terminal to purchase the bus ticket, which should take us to Jonggak Station. Our accommodation was at Jonggak Station, a walk able distance from Myeongdong and to Insadong. We waited at the bus top of number 1602. Airbnb owner is a Korean who does speak English and he told us the direction to his apartment. Oh ya, and if you were wondering why we did not bought any SIM card or Data card, Here's why: We felt that their SIM card was really expensive and uncalled for since you an easily tap Wifi at almost any start bucks or restaurant. They do have good wifi connection. Moreover, the owner at Airbnb does provide portable wifi, therefore, all the more we felt that there isn't any need to have one. So you see why I chose Airbnb instead of hotel.

The bus ride was about 1 hr 30 minutes. As we had communication barrier, love and I alighted the wrong stop and the bus driver couldn't care less if we have alighted the correct stop despite me asking. He was showing his: Damned, please stop asking me questions and move off! expression and I knew that he was not helping at all. In the end, we had to drag our luggage 1 bus stop away before we reached our apartment.

Amazingly, Seoul doesn't have lots of escalator or lifts around and you have to walk everywhere by stairs. Even the elderly are not spared from taking the flight of stairs. They do have lifts but it was way too far and inconvenient. With the luggage, Love and I walked up and down the stairs with 10kg on hand and sweating internally even though the weather was a cooling temperature at about 11~15 degree. Now you see why the Koreans are so healthy.

Finally, we had reached our apartment.

The apartment is clean and cosy which could house 2-3 people. It comes with the basic necessity such as toilet rolls, washing machines, utilentils, fridge, iron etc. We rested for about 30 minutes before leaving the apartment to N. Seoul Tower.

We walked past the bustling eateries and made our way to the Metro.

The Metro was never crowded like what we experience in Singapore.

We had our dinner at Two Two Chicken. To go there, go to Myeongdong Station, Exit 3. Once you exit, you can see the restaurant.

We ordered the chicken, french fries and a pint beer. The potion was big and expensive.
If we  had ordered one plate less, it would be enough for us.

Dinner was good, gulping down the beer with fried chicken, keeping my body warm was the best thing after landed in Korea. The weather was still freaking cold in March which it shouldn't have. With a heavy stomach, we carried our legs up to the N. Seoul Tower to purchase the cable car tickets.

Bought the tickets to take the cable car up to N. Seoul Tower.

It was indeed a bird eye view of Seoul. You can see traffic congestion at some lanes and some of the lights in the office buildings are still on.

At N. Seoul Tower, you can buy the locks and pledge your love before leaving the keys in the letterbox nearby.

He must be thinking what to write

You can buy the locks from the nearby convenient store  which sell foods.

Shag face.

After exploring N. Seoul Tower, we went indoor to get some warmth as the weather was seriously freezing cold.

We grabbed a cup of coffee and head home after that.

And  upload a photo of both of us before signing off
