Thanks to Mapwerkz, Xiong and I had a chance to go to Avalon! They were having an event at the club and many of the audience were there early.

At Avalon- The lights were on and they are getting ready for the show-down!

It was an event where various dance groups came together to display their own unique moves. The dancers are locally and internationally famous.

Though i do not know how to dance, i love the way how these guys move their body with such flexibility under the influence of music.

Groups and groups of youths joining the queue.

We waited about 20 minutes before we entered Avalon.

The youngsters were crowding around the stage and all of them were enjoying chatting with friends.

The night was so clear that you can see the scenery outside Avalon. It was a spectacular view of CBD area.

The dance groups which were presented at the part were Team EX,  Fuyo, SWAT Crew, Basic 5 and We will be back,  The Passionate Dancing Elder, Limited Edition, GIGI Art of Dance, Styles from Beyond, Da Street Soulz, Joyce and The Boys,

After the teams displayed their dances, there was a short interval where the Emcee invited audience to have a PK. Surprisingly, there are quite a few youngsters who really knows how to move~~ All of them were equally good.

It feels great to be young!

There were other famous international dancers such as Andreas Chua, Suleman Malik, Koharu Sugawara, Chris Martin. One of the dancers, Koharu Sugawara has done choreography for 2NE1, Girls Generation, Namie Amuro , SMAP etc. She is also featured as as NIKE + FUELBAND SE ad campagin in 2013.

It was an eye opener to see that dance can come in different forms. Some of them goes with the beat, some are like telling a story and some are freestyle.

After a good 2 hours, the event ended.

Oh Yeah! A new place to visit and take professional selfie shot in Singapore!!

Thanks to Mapwerkz, I was invited to attend an event at Cloud Productions SG last week!

Located in Bugis Cube (just opposite Hotel Intercontinental Singapore) Cloud Productions is proud to be the first to launch POP-UP studio. If you hadn't know what a Pop-up Studio is, it is a studio where you can
  • Be creative in your photos.
  • Choose your favourite background!
  • Take high quality selfie photos with the their professional camera equipment
  • Take unlimited photos
  • Rent their props!
The studio is small yet adequate. Besides the DSLR, they have polaroid cameras and photo printers! If you love square prints, you can top up $10 to print 12 pieces of (7cm x 7cm) for your safekeeping.

Photo credits to Cloud Production SG.

As it was their first opening last Saturday, besides us, there were other patrons who came to show their support! It was really lively! Props like straw hats, soft toys, chairs, frames, spectacles were provided during the selfie session. But if you want to bring your own props, by all means! They allow you to bring your own props. Its all about customization and creativity!

They have masquerade mask too!

Before we actually took the photos, the other bloggers and I were playing with the props. I took a number of selfies with them and was enjoying myself.

Besides providing selfie session, Cloud Productions does provide:

Product Shoot
!

Customers can book 60 minutes session to shoot their products. The studio, lights, product tent and reflector were provided in the rental! All you have to do is to bring your desire products!

I did an experiment using the book and the photo turned out to be great! The background is clean and the lighting is good. However, the owner mentioned that only general products and packet foods are recommended.

And after the orientation, we began the selfie group session!

All the bloggers!

Look how we enjoyed taking photos :X

Please ignore my ugly socks.

All the photo turned out to be brilliant and we are able to take all the soft copy!!

Why I think Cloud Productions is a great place for photo-taking?

If you love taking photos, Cloud Productions is a place you must go! You can take unlimited photos at an reasonable price. Also, you need not bring your own camera as there are professional cameras, light kit, props and even polaroid cameras. Best of all, you can even print some of your photos at the shop itself!

It would be fun to bring your family and friends along if you wish to take photos as memoirs. Currently, they are having an promotion of $30 ( instead of U.P $60) for 30 minutes selfie session. In this 30 minutes, you can take all sorts of photos you want (except nude ya) and keep them for life. Isn't it worth to go? After the game, i felt quite a little brain dead. But throughout the whole game, it was really a fun, exciting and brain racking experience! Together with other bloggers, we challenged one of the room at:
Exit Plan(Click to find out more!)

Exit Plan creates the reality games room for players to experience the first hand 'feel' of trying to free yourselves by searching for clues in that chamber.

Inspired from the popular game room concept from Japan, a group of friends came together to establish Exit Plan, allowing fellow Singaporean to solve mystery and puzzle in persons.

The friendly staffs ! *Smile*

Currently, Exit Plan has three rooms to challenge.:

The Cursed Chamber

Focus Pocus and

Friends of Eriden

We were given 50 minutes to break out of The Cursed Chamber, When we entered the room, it was pretty dark. After some orientation, we walked about and started searching for clues. The clues were pretty obvious actually, but all of us needed sometime to digest and think what, how and where to do/find. You will find yourself getting excited to try other rooms after the first game. They will change their rooms accordingly too, so, do keep a lookout on their website and facebook for updates!

To note:

It is not scary at all and neither there are traps around to confuse you. There is also definitely no need for you to crawl, jump or shoot (or be extraordinary) to escape these rooms. All you need to bring are yourself, your friends, brains and some cash ^^.

They are one of the players in the market which provides really affordable rates.

Here's the price list
