Malaysia Genting Trip in July 2014 Day 2

My Plan for Day 2 was to visit KL! It was about 1.5 hours to get from Genting Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur.

I woke up quite early, preparing to leave the hotel for KL but my love was still sleeping. He woke at about 11am.
OOTD!

Kuala Lumpur is not cold at all and that explains our outfit. I know that many of us know how to get down from Genting to KL but there are also many others who doesn't know how to. My love did some research and this was how we got down... ...

Getting from Genting to KL

From our hotel, look for sign and walk to Genting Skyway. Walk over to the counter and buy one way or return ticket. One return ticket should cost RM12.  Hop on to the cable car and and down you go... ...

It was so misty that you can't see what is infront of you.

When the wind blows, you can also feel the whole cable car shaking (Scary~~). The cable car took about 15 minutes (about 3k km) to reach the bottom hill. My experience was made worst when the cable car stopped in midair :| I had never experience such thing before (except being stuck in the lift) in my life! It was not a laughing matter when your cable car got stuck in mid air (1.740 metres! ) It stopped for 5 minutes(still hell scary to me alright?!)

While hanging in mid air, we never failed to take more selfies... ...

Trying to keep my posture

When we reached the bottom (*relieved*), we walked around to look for ticket counter to purchase bus tickets to KL.

Bus terminal

To my horror, we were told to go to level 3 to purchase ticket as the ground floor counter ticket was closed. We followed their instructions and took the lift up to level 3 again. And again, we were told that there was a massive jam at the expressway and we had to wait for 2-3 hours before the next bus arrive. I was utterly disappointed. I thought that we could have a cheaper mode of transport to Pudu Sentral but it seems all so impossible now. There were not many cabs around and all of us were trying to wait for one. We waited at the so call "taxi stand" and one finally came and we hopped on. It cost 100RM for both of us to KL. Travelling alone took us 1 hour. Taxi uncle stopped by Pavilion.

There are some shopping malls nearby.: Berjaya Times Square, Pavilion, Kota Raya, Fahrenheit 88, Lot 10 and Sungei Wang Plaza and Low Yat Plaza. One day will not be enough to shop these shopping malls.

Lot 10. One shopping mall which sell affordable branded stuffs.

Sungei Wang. One shopping mall which sells affordable trendy clothes.

Low Yat Plaza sells all the IT stuffs. The banner tells all! I bought a portable handphone charger for my brother ^^

Berjaya times Square. This shopping mall is seriously big that i hoped that i had more time to shop.

After shopping for hours, it was time to go back Genting. We walked about 20 minutes to Pudu Sentral and bought the last bus at 7.00pm.

However, when you purchased the ticket, they provide the return Genting Skyway ticket too. Perhaps you may want to buy one way ticket when you are going down from Genting to KL.

The bus terminal was at the basement. There were not a lot of passengers as all of were able to sit comfortably on the bus. Bus interior was clean and good. The driver sped all the way to the Genting Skyway Lower Station. Luckily there was no jam and we reached there in an hour.

Same thing, we took the cable car up to Genting. As it was dark, we couldn't see what was around us except the lights from the opposite cable car.

Genting from afar.

And once we reached Genting, we went back to our hotel to unload staffs before going casino.

And here are a list of shopping malls i visited in KL which are reachable by foot.
