I was slightly more busy these days which might have explained my low blogging frequency.
Let me recap my last weekend!

Wednesday

It was mid week and I had the sudden urge to do my nails. I have not been doing my nails since July and they were not well kept. Three of my nails were broken due to work and i was really sad about it. Joycelynn (my manicurist ) put me on waiting list as her slots were full till end of December. Luckily, one of her customers couldn't make it on Wed night and i was able to take her slot! Happily, i ended work at 6pm and rush to Tampines. Due to bad traffic, i was late for 10 minutes!!

And immediately, she started the manicure session.

Can you idenify the three fake nails?

After 1.5 hours, my nails were nicely decorated and tada!!

Nice right!!

By the time my nails were done, It was reaching 8.30pm. I reached home at about 9.30pm and had my dinner.

Saturday

Love and I were chilling our Saturday at Shuffle Bistro as we love bars with live band drumming mandarin songs. We were checking out several bistro and there was another one call "Switch'. As Switch live band only begin at 9.30pm, we decided to go back Shuffle again.

Thanks love for the lovely photo.

We ordered Churros (Not bad ) and Hawaiian Pizza.

The Churros was good actually !

During that night, there was a special guest from Superstar. He is.... Aedan Kang 江韩文. I was really happy and shocked (I support him more than the Alfred Sim). He sang 2 songs that night. I have to say that he can really sing!

While listening to the live band, i was indulging in my Somersby Apple Cidar.

One is not enough, i had another round of Moscato after wards.

My happy love

Sunday

On Sunday, Linda and i were packing clothes for the flea market this Sunday. We had collected 100 over clothes in total, excluding some from our relatives. After packing some clothes, we followed Linda and Xiong's Bro to Shangri-La hotel to view their ballroom.

Here are some photos
Xiong and I tagged along !!

They kinda like had a blue theme on that day but overall the ballroom looked really grand. It could easily host up to more than 50 tables. But the price of each table was expensive. Unless you can afford more than $2k per table, you can consider this hotel

The lady was nice enough to show us the solemnization place too.

The place for solemnization is at Pavilion. According to the wedding coordinator, she mentioned that this place was renovated. The lightnings and decorations were value added and overall they add elegance and luxury to the room.

Can you imagine how beautiful it is?

The outdoor allows the solemnisation and BBQ. If it rains, the whole event could be moved indoor.

The lobby area

Pretty isn't it?!

Work harder so that you can afford to hold your solemnization in this place :X

I love going back to my manicurist, Joycelyn, again and again because she can paint my nails within an hour.

As i had decided to take a half day leave to rest for today, I booked an appointment with her to pamper my nails. My nails had been really brittle and unkept for weeks.

The reason i always go back to her was because she
  1. is very skilled and precise. She can complete my nail art within an hour.
  2. Reasonable price (of course)
  3. Convenient for me  :D
  4. Great service!
  5. Meticulous in her work
  6. Very creative! There had been few times i had no idea what i want. I mentioned i wanted flowers and she drew it free-style! Amazing!

Here are some of the designs she had done on my nails!

It was my boring Saturday as my mum and dad went out early morning to ICA building to collect dad's passport and my love was working in the afternoon. I had the whole afternoon for myself so i dedicated part of my early morning to mop the floor and wash the corridor.

After housekeeping, i decided to meet my mum in bugis. Was looking for a manicure shop to do my nail but the prices were either $25 or $30.

Chance upon this shop at Bugis Village level 3.

Time to blog BKK second day!

This day, we had decided to go shop around town area. Town area means siam square, discovery centre, MBK etc. We woke up at 8am and had our breakfast at 9am. The food were decent and nice. There's not a lot of variety of food but they are enough for us. After filling our stomach, we headed out to pratunam market for shopping. The market opens early in the morning and closes at 9am. Just imagine they were closing their stalls at 9am. All of us had missed the morning as we did not wake up as early. However, we managed to get some good buys from the market. After that, we walked all the way to Siam.

Our breakfast in the morning. Though the food doesn't look very appetising, they were delicious.

A random shot when mum was doing her shopping.

We passed by this huge shopping mall in order to get to Siam.

Our pace were very slow, just like the life of tourist (which we are) in Thailand. We walked, took some photos, and eat along the way. My mum was very happy haha. Look at her!

Yea!

Our plan for the day was very simple. We were supposed to go to Town area to walk about. And my aim was to get to naraya to buy a pouch for my colleague. Getting a pouch was simple as i had just need to get one. Other people were screaming and looking around for their best designs in naraya. I could understand as i had once wholesales naraya last year. Though i did not particularly liked their design, I had bought some as gifts. But currently, i am using the naraya bag which i bought last year. Overtime, i felt that their quality was really good. Their workman ship was good as i do not bet any threads fall-out even after a year. Also, it was easy to wash and maintain. And best of all, you can go it with any outfit!

Alright, enough of my naraya.

Next, we moved on to the train station and cut through the control station. My mum and dad wanted to go to  the 四面佛 to pray. And so, we went to pray before going walking about again. There again, we walked and take photos, walked and take photos. Life is just so puurrfect!

After walking for a whole day, we came to the bridge, which linked us to MBK. This is MBK:

See my mum poses for this.

I was excited because it reminds me of the manicure at the bridge! :D But before we went to that, we had to shop for phone casing. Iphone 4, 5, note 2, S2, whatever you can name it! This time round, i bought 2 iphone 5 casing, some casing for my colleagues, 1 S2 casing and 1 ipad casing for my sis. All the casing! However, my sis told me that i was scammed as the ipad cover was faulty. For my mum, she was also happily shopping for her note 2 casing. As her's was a new phone, she had hard time finding cheap casing in Singapore.

When she went there, she was speechless.

She grumbled to me that her $50 casing cost only 300 baht is Thailand. 300 baht is as good as $12.40 in Singapore. At that moment, she bought 2. She was still happy with her buys though haha. For dad, i guess he wanted to walk around and see. He did not buy anything this year.

And me? I rushed to the bridge to do my manicure after buying my stuffs. But halfway, Xiong stopped me and pointed a lady at me.

He: Isn't this guy was the one who drew your nails last year.
Me: Oh ya hor! I remember his face. Oh?! His hair had grew so long already!
He: He might have job hopped long ago.

I walk towards this salon and started asking for prices. He said "okay" and so i sat down.

After a while, i am very sure that they had moved to this salon as i saw the lady boss. I was so excited to get my nails done. My nails cost 200 baht.
Here is the design:

See the "lady" in yellow? She is a great manicurist.

At dinner time, we met ah ling at MBK. She brought us to dinner at :

My biao jie~~

The food are affordable. This restaurant is located at a deserted place near National Stadium BTS.

Ratchada
167/9-12 Huay-Kwang Intersection,
Ratchadapisek Rd., DinDeang, Bangkok 10320
Tel. 02-692-6850-3

There are many different branches but i guessed we went to this branch. The foods are really very delicious! Thailand foods are like this. They doesn't look very presentable on the table but when u tasted them, the flavours were like bursting around in your mouth and make you wanna have more of it.

We walked out of the restaurant, carrying our stomachs. We were too full to even walk about haha. After eating, we took a cab and went back to our hotel. Getting all set for the next 2 days shopping activities!!

Bangkok 3rd Day

This week has been set aside for reading my journals and planning of activities. Yesterday, i went out to orchard again, to collect sephora items from my collegue. Ceyi bought several items from the sephora girl where staff enjoyed 40% off for in-house brand and 20% off for other brands. Its a good buy! After taking those things from her, i went into sephora to see if i have other things which i wanted. Of course i want everything :X But for this month, i had better saved up for bkk trip, for dear's birthday as well as my expenses.

Dear met me up after studying one whole afternoon at home. He was very tired of reading those words. His eyes were like perked up after meeting me o.o We had nando's for dinner yesterday. It was a good choice because Xiong had never tried before and i thought it was time to eat now. ^^.

The popular dish from Nando's !

Looking at the menu... ...
Giving me a serious look >.<
Taking photo with the 4  sauces
*Twist*

I couldn't finish the potato salad and french fries. It was a lot of food and my serving was rather big. At least bigger than his potion. After eating dinner, dear sent me to Tnags before leaving for work. And me... walk about orchard for a little while before going home :)

Today, me and ceyi had a little exploration at tampines. On Monday, we made and appointment with joycelyn, the manicurist at tampines to book 2 slots for us on Thursday. This is the earliest date she can give us and so we just take it. Over the days, we had been looking at several designs on what we wanted on our nails. It was easy to locate her house. Her father in law opened the door and welcome us in. It was the very first time doing manicure in somebody's house. We felt shy and felt like intruders. However, the granny and grandfather are heartwarming. They are very nice to us too! In the manicure room, both of us showed her the designs we wanted and she started off immediately. She is very experienced and know what colour to go with. I told her i wanted flowers on 10 fingers and she gave me all! She draw it with her creativity. There was no guideline or any samples to see. My designs were one and only! Ceyi told me to draw 1st and so i did. It took her 45 minutes to complete my designs!

I definitely love this design!

This is Ceyi design, very cute and sweet looking unlike mine. I like her's too!

I shall go back to her whenever my nails needed some pamper from hard chores. Dear just woke up after i was done with my nails. He had a good long sleep today :) Happy for you dear :) Lunch was at macdonald, After eating our lunch, we again went to have an eyebrow trim near her house. Even the beautician was awe by our nails and she was tempted to do too!By the time i had reached home, it was already 4.30pm. Aftering doing some personal things, it was time to read up one chapt of my journal. One more to go !! Jia you!!

Dear you jia you too!! ; D
