There wasn't many photos taken on the third and fourth day of BKK. The main thing to do was to shop and shop and shop. Third day was at platinum mall and we shopped around pratunam night market till closed.

As for the fourth day, it was a Saturday. We couldn't miss the weekend market: Chatuchak Market!! I believed all girls who love shopping will know this place very well.

I hated to end our holiday... But back to reality.

Xiong had work on Sunday the moment we just landed Singapore. He was very tired but he did not want to take his leave. Me and my dad had a day to rest before going back to office. It was great going back to work but it was even better to go back on a holiday. For that week when i was back, i was very excited and worried for Friday. It was because... me and dear were going to choose our flat!

Our queue number was 616 out of 841. The chances of getting a good flat might not be good, so we went to ask for help. Well, after much consultation, both of us had a small argument over flat matter and of course, we had different opinion. After much discussion, we had finally agree to settle at Seng kang Crescent. It is located next to the TPE and Chen Er Bo said that this flat was suitable for us....

On Friday (19th July 2013), i took a half day leave for this matter. I was rushing a report and i left office at 1pm. Dear was already waiting for me at the carpark. As we were still early, i suggested to visit my granny for lunch together. I haven been visiting her for a while as all of us are busy with work. As and when we are able to, we will. After having a short break at her house, dear and i had decided to drive off to Toa Payoh Hub to see our flat one more time. We sat and waited, looking at the screen to see if our choice had been taken. When it was our turn, we walked into the room, towards the counter.

The lady who served us might have spent her entire life, working for HDB hub. She was pretty old and fragile. That wasn't really the point. The point is, dear felt that she was very blur with the procedure and stuffs like that. But we still have to continue. We proceed to hand over our pay slip, cpf transaction etc. The lady gave us all sorts of documents to sign. I felt that we were signing at our own risk x.x After sitting there for half an hour, the lady said we had to pay $2000 at level 3. We got up our sit and left the counter. After making payment, we went back to sign more documents to complete the process. The whole process took almost an hour. After we walked out of the HDB, dear and i felt a bit relief and unsure. Unsure if all documents have been signed correctly. But thinking over it made us feel moodier.

We decide to leave it to the hands of government.

As for now, we are waiting for their letter to come for the loan repayment matter. I felt excited and looking forward for our flat :P But, don't expect our red bomb to reach you guys soon. We need time to save up x.x

Also, my birthday is coming near too.. But there are too many upcoming activities which over-ride my birthday. I hope i will still be able to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones.

I will blog about my birthday the next round :D
Time to blog BKK second day!

This day, we had decided to go shop around town area. Town area means siam square, discovery centre, MBK etc. We woke up at 8am and had our breakfast at 9am. The food were decent and nice. There's not a lot of variety of food but they are enough for us. After filling our stomach, we headed out to pratunam market for shopping. The market opens early in the morning and closes at 9am. Just imagine they were closing their stalls at 9am. All of us had missed the morning as we did not wake up as early. However, we managed to get some good buys from the market. After that, we walked all the way to Siam.

Our breakfast in the morning. Though the food doesn't look very appetising, they were delicious.

A random shot when mum was doing her shopping.

We passed by this huge shopping mall in order to get to Siam.

Our pace were very slow, just like the life of tourist (which we are) in Thailand. We walked, took some photos, and eat along the way. My mum was very happy haha. Look at her!

Yea!

Our plan for the day was very simple. We were supposed to go to Town area to walk about. And my aim was to get to naraya to buy a pouch for my colleague. Getting a pouch was simple as i had just need to get one. Other people were screaming and looking around for their best designs in naraya. I could understand as i had once wholesales naraya last year. Though i did not particularly liked their design, I had bought some as gifts. But currently, i am using the naraya bag which i bought last year. Overtime, i felt that their quality was really good. Their workman ship was good as i do not bet any threads fall-out even after a year. Also, it was easy to wash and maintain. And best of all, you can go it with any outfit!

Alright, enough of my naraya.

Next, we moved on to the train station and cut through the control station. My mum and dad wanted to go to  the 四面佛 to pray. And so, we went to pray before going walking about again. There again, we walked and take photos, walked and take photos. Life is just so puurrfect!

After walking for a whole day, we came to the bridge, which linked us to MBK. This is MBK:

See my mum poses for this.

I was excited because it reminds me of the manicure at the bridge! :D But before we went to that, we had to shop for phone casing. Iphone 4, 5, note 2, S2, whatever you can name it! This time round, i bought 2 iphone 5 casing, some casing for my colleagues, 1 S2 casing and 1 ipad casing for my sis. All the casing! However, my sis told me that i was scammed as the ipad cover was faulty. For my mum, she was also happily shopping for her note 2 casing. As her's was a new phone, she had hard time finding cheap casing in Singapore.

When she went there, she was speechless.

She grumbled to me that her $50 casing cost only 300 baht is Thailand. 300 baht is as good as $12.40 in Singapore. At that moment, she bought 2. She was still happy with her buys though haha. For dad, i guess he wanted to walk around and see. He did not buy anything this year.

And me? I rushed to the bridge to do my manicure after buying my stuffs. But halfway, Xiong stopped me and pointed a lady at me.

He: Isn't this guy was the one who drew your nails last year.
Me: Oh ya hor! I remember his face. Oh?! His hair had grew so long already!
He: He might have job hopped long ago.

I walk towards this salon and started asking for prices. He said "okay" and so i sat down.

After a while, i am very sure that they had moved to this salon as i saw the lady boss. I was so excited to get my nails done. My nails cost 200 baht.
Here is the design:

See the "lady" in yellow? She is a great manicurist.

At dinner time, we met ah ling at MBK. She brought us to dinner at :

My biao jie~~

The food are affordable. This restaurant is located at a deserted place near National Stadium BTS.

Ratchada
167/9-12 Huay-Kwang Intersection,
Ratchadapisek Rd., DinDeang, Bangkok 10320
Tel. 02-692-6850-3
Fax. 02-692-6854

There are many different branches but i guessed we went to this branch. The foods are really very delicious! Thailand foods are like this. They doesn't look very presentable on the table but when u tasted them, the flavours were like bursting around in your mouth and make you wanna have more of it.

We walked out of the restaurant, carrying our stomachs. We were too full to even walk about haha. After eating, we took a cab and went back to our hotel. Getting all set for the next 2 days shopping activities!!

Bangkok 3rd Day

Time to blog my BKK!

I am getting familiar with the routes in BKK: I know where are the shopping malls, i know how to walk out to pratunam market , i know how to take BTS (o.o) and many more! I shall tell you guys where we went during our 4 days 3 nights :D

BKK Day 1~

First day was perhaps the best day! We managed to go somewhere we never went before. In the wee hours, my mum, dad and bii woke up at 3.30am to get ready for the airport. Bii's elder brother was early and he was already waiting downstairs. After we were done, we brought our luggage down and he helped us to carry them into the car.

At the airport, we did the usual stuff: Check-in, taking breakfast and walk to our gate waiting for our plane to arrive. Meanwhile we took some photos:

My mum and Dad

♥ My Love

My family

See all of us were so wide awake haha. My dad and bii managed to slept throught the journey but i couldn't, I remain as how i was the moment i sat on the seat. After 2.5 hours of agony on plane, we had finally arrive Suvarnabhumi Airport. As BKK was an hour later than Singapore, i felt that i have an hour extra to do more things. To get to our hotel, we took the Airport Rail link to Rajchaprarop Station.

Here is our Hotel address:

122/44 Rajchaprarop Road,
Khweng Thanon-Phayathai,
Khet Rajchathewi, Bangkok 10400

It was a pretty nice and cosy place.

Our purple room!

My parents' room

See! The room is pretty bright and nice! Each room has a bench but it was not-utilised haha. After settling down, we headed to Chinatown. I wanted to go to the legendary Sampeng Lane where it sells lots of acessories such as necklace, earrings and hair accessories. Not only that, they sell shoes, hardware and textiles. My dad loves this place a lot somehow.

Cars are everywhere and even in small squeezy lane, you will still see motors coming in and out of every corner. I did not spend much this day was i was hoping to spend my money for the next 3 days. We explored and walked for a distance before going down to Hua Lamphong railway station. In the evening, we took the BTS from Hua Lamphong to Saphan Taksin and a boat to Asiatique. By the time we reached Asiatique, it was already 5.30pm. The place had just opened...
The boat. It will arrive every 15 minutes. Don't forget to go the furthest one, this is for free!

View from afar
Asiatique!

When we had reached there, dad was already looking for food as he was hungry while me, busy posing photos with my mum. This place reminds me of USS, as they building structure were so different from the rest in Bangkok. We had our dinner at

a restaurant where was not heard of. The food was pretty delicious. But the potion for the food were small. I wonder if my dad was even full from these foods. But anyway, after dinner, we had a short walk around before going back to hotel. In a wink of eye, day 1 was gone... ...

Bangkok 1st and 2nd Day

Time to blog my BKK! I am getting familiar with the routes in BKK: I know where are the shopping malls, i know how to walk out to pratunam...
Truthfully, I still felt very tired since the trip from bkk. I had not been healing to my health. After coming back from bkk, there's lots of unpacking to do, lots of work to do. I hardly had any rest. Until now, I had not finished unpacking my items from bkk. My babes are the same too, had unfinished packages. What's more sian was that my beautiful nails are getting cui each day. All my bejeweled glitters are dropping off as i do housework everyday. I am going to make them back to good condition soon.

So far, i stopped working for work kitchen, as i had intended to since its time for me to find a stable job. I had not gone for any interviews yet but perhaps this week is where i will rest well. Shall begin my job hunt next week. Wonder what type of company will hire me >.< I am more afraid that i will not be interviewed at all! End up jobless is a bad thing

Yup, just back from bkk, i was very happy with my buys! Let me blog a bit on what happened over the 6 days (17th -22th May)

Day 1

We arrived at Bangkok, raining, airport was gloomy but the crowd was overwhelming. All of us were shagged, waiting at the custom to be entered. Total waiting time was close to half an hour. After all of us cleared the custom, we bought some sim cards and hired a cab to the hotel. The hotel was situated among those market, which made it quite inaccessible by car. Roads are squeeze and people are strolling altogether. There's not much regulations around the area. After putting down our luggage's, we took a cab to Chinatown and have our seafood dinner there. Had bought bird nest and shark fin for supper! Superb!

Day 2

All of of waked up early and our motive: TO SHOP! This time, we shopped at platinum mall. We walked all over to platinum mall to have our breakfast and practically shopped after filling our stomachs. It was a whole day at platinum. Shop shop shop!
At night, we walked over to Pantip plaza to look at electronics items. There isn't much of any casing but Jas wanted to take a look at Polaroid camera. And dinner was of course settled at A&W! Walk along the pratunam market was also heaven! Its just too much for shopping to do over there!

Day 3

Today, all of us had mcdonald big breakfast. Another day to have a good breakfast :D The whole day was reserved for Chatuchak! We took a tuk-tuk on that very day. In fact, i must say all of us are enjoying the ride haha. At chaktuchak , I splurged on those which i really liked. There much to see over there which could not really complete a day, so we went again the next day. At night, is our massage session. All of us were thinking to go to which massage so in the end we ended up in another massage parlour just beside the one i went to last year. It was a thai massage this time. The therapist was busy pulling my bones and muscles which my body cracked a lot on that day. It was kinda painful but worth the experience :|

Day 4

Mcdonald breakfast again! I order a muffin haha. We head down to chaktuchak for our last minute purchases. I bought quite a lot of items and dear bought 3 pair of shoes. Fast decision, i like :x I wasn't that bad either, i ended up 4 pairs of shoes at the end of the trip. At night was an exciting night for us. We were going to the Baiyoke  Revolving deck at the topmost floor. We took a lot of nice photos. The scenery was pretty. You can see the whole of bangkok from there. The dazzling bangkok, i can't forget how it looked it.

Day 5

All of us were quite tired from the past activities and so we skipped Grand Palace. The whole day was allocated for exploring town, MBK, Siam paragon, discovery center. Imagine we walked all the way to the orchard area of bangkok? The weather was crazy and so we were. I bought some naraya bags for self use. And im still waiting for the chance to be used :D At Big C supermarket, we bought lots of food, pocky, mangoes! Haha. At MBK was to hunt for our hp casing. I bought a casing for mum dad and sis and they like it a lot. Bought 2 for myself of course. Pamper my self :) Dear paid a lot for me as well. We did manicure after shopping at MBK and it was awesome! I loved my nails but now it was all destroyed :( Seriously sad. Dinner was simple as all of us had pizza and pasta :)

Last day,

One more time of shopping at platinum mall. Earlier morning had magee mee for breakfast. I bought a number of last minute goods, like clothes for my mum and those. At 4.30pm, our dirver came and fetched us to sirport. All of us were quiet and some of us even slept on the taxi! As checked in time was not open, we had to wait for half an hour before we could check in to have our dinner. Dinner was KNS though, but all of us were hungry. Then its time to board and come back to Singapore.

Some other photos of us:
