It's 1 year. Finally I can remove my P-plate.This plate was passed down from my husband, then to his younger brother, and finally to me. Perhaps next can pass down to Linda? Hope she will get her license soon!

Workload is getting more and more as we are taking on new stuffs. Job is repetitive but i guess all jobs are the same. Our company has released bonus for this year and all seems good, as I felt that handwork does pay off. However, all my bonus will end up in in my house renovation and furniture.

I am looking forward to our new house and how it would end up to be. Doors were up and the latest update was that toilet glass door was up too. Contractor will be coming this Thursday to do carpentry work.

Last weekend, love and I went to have a short getaway at Hotel Jen Tanglin. They are currently having a weekend promotion for Recharge and Refuel and the price was attractive. Breakfast is add on service and it totaled up to $300. It was about 15 mins walk to Orchard and 7min to Hardrock Cafe.

Over the other weekends, Love and I will hop places and places to hunt for furniture and household accessories. I remembered the times we used to hop cafes to cafes during weekend but the hype seems to be over.

While moving on our life together as a couple, there are many things we must accept and love for who we are. It's not like child play that we can just break up if things doesn't work out. There are many things which  I learnt from my mum and dad throughout their wedding life. My love is an emo one and he is just an odd one sometimes. But I just love him, that's just him afterall. But whatever it is, the feeling that there's someone who will always be for you, feels like home...

Ya, that's him!

Happy New Year everyone.

2016 has come to an end and its time to embrace a brand new year and life. 2016 was not an easy year for us.  Mum has passed away since 6 months ago and I am now engaged. We've been through so much together as a family and never had once we forgot our mum. We missed her cooking so much that we tried to gather our thoughts of what she had cooked for us before. Dad missed her Bee Hoon and I can seriously say that no where or anyone will be able to cook near her standard.

Sis will come back almost every weekend without fail and that's where the kids bring joy to dad. The little one is beginning to crawl and soon, he will learn to run. The elder one has just started her nursery and she is in her 2nd day of school today.

For the past 6 months, I've learnt to stock up groceries, visiting supermarket and wet markets whenever I'm free. I have to buy foods for prayer and breakfast too. If my sis or brother needs me, I will try to be there. Xiong has also been very patience with us, driving us up and down, to and fro many places,  for dinner, to go grocer shopping etc. I am grateful that he is such a reliable man I could lean on.

Christmas was the time where we met up people of our lives. As we grow older, our social life shrink to just a few of us. These are my friends whom i believe will be friends for life. We grew up together, watched each other being single to married, hopping places from restaurants to dining at their homes and so much more.

There are so many more things to explore in life and never should we stop connecting with people we love. Time is precious and it would be regrettable if it if not utilized rightfully.

These are friends whom I cherished a lot.

Hope all of you have a great 2017!

Ha yes, been quite quiet for a while since I hop job. My new job is okay, its stable with many things to do. Right now, i am still learning and absorbing as much as i can. All of my colleagues are married with kids while im the only single lady. They are all nice people but it is definitely too early to say if there is any office politics. But as of now, all of them are very nice people. Hope in months to come, I can know them better.

I've been also brought down by family issues. Not only taking care of my family, I am also taking care of family chores as much as i can, buying foods back for my family and anything which i feel is nice and appetizing. At times, I have to go out to buy foods for prayers, run errands for family issue and other miscellaneous stuffs, at the expense of my love. And i really appreciate that he will always be there for me. I no longer could sleep till late during weekends. Blame on my body clock partially too as i am also used to waking up early. By waking up in early morning, I could take a few hours to wash my family clothes and hung them dry till afternoon. As much as i want to go shopping for a whole day during weekend, I was not able to really do it anymore. Having personal time had became some sort of luxury for me as I dedicated most of my time to my family.

Love is very understanding and he accompanied me almost all of his time being with me and family. I felt i had deprived him of something which is close to his heart: His family. Though his family is no where similar to other families, i can't deny that he has a family too. Apart from being with my family, i would also love to meet up his family often for a gathering. No else where feels like home unless your family is with you. Its such a comfort zone where we share every little things about our recent happenings, be it good or bad. Only they can understand.

I was getting a little tired these days but I tell myself, come what may, I will be fighting always. I am lucky that I have my love to depend on, his family to share and talk about life and my family to be here when i have a bad day.

  We had army stew yesterday!

Weekday could be fun too!

It was really one of the few days which i took leave to go out with my love. Sometimes he had his days off during the weekend but it wasn't enough. During weekend we had to squeeze with the crowd practically everywhere: train, restaurant, movies , shopping malls etc which i really dislike.

Last Tuesday,  I met Xiong at Suntec, hoping to redeem a pair of free movie tickets. I was really early  but Xiong was late.. But never mind, we managed to get the tickets with good seats. We chose to watch 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' as i love watching Robin Williams' film. His 'Jumanji' left a deep impression in me during my younger days. There were lots of "What the hell?!", "What the f*ck?!", "F*ck off" phrases in the movie and not one which was kid-friendly. But overall it was a good movie which i felt close to my heart as they emphasize a lot on family matters. It was really touching that i almost cried!!

After the redemption of the tickets, we went to Symmetry at Jalan Kubor to have our brunch. I was expecting to have some breakfast brunch but they do not have any on a rainy Tuesday. The cafe was located just at a corner of Jalan Kubor.

The cafe was dimly lit but it was still visible. The cafe was kinda like decorated in the 80s' style. You can spot some vintage posters around. I shall blog Symmetry Cafe in another post later.

After we had filled our stomachs, we wanted to have some desserts at Cake Love. If you had knew about the Cafe Fest Saga, you must be familiar that most patrons who were not satisfied with the management had somehow received compensation from them. I was one of those who made the complain. Though I wasn't satisfied with them (till now due to other issues) but at least there were some form of compensations. It was still bearable.

But before we head over to Cake Love, we were taking some photos at the back alley.

Can you just imagine how dark the weather was? It was about to rain anytime!

Yet we were still fooling around... ...

No idea why that i wasn't standing straight in this photo

Luckily, the rain came before we got real wet! We were looking for Cake Love high and low until Xiong told me that it was just behind us... ...

Their signboard was really cute!

Cake Love was founded in 2009 which specialize in customizing cakes, macarons, cupcakes and many other sweets treats ! I shall blog a bit more on my next post too! By the way, the serve Rainbow Cheesecake on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Their first cake will be out at 12pm and the second cake will be out at 4pm. For cheesecake lovers, please keep a look out for their Rainbow cakes!

And non-stop photos while waiting for the rain to subside... ...

After which we had a short shopping spree at Suntec before we went KTV at Teo heng. 3 hours of KTV session was cheaper than 2 hours! Went for the 3 hours KTV instead and left 10 minutes before our movie start...

And our day ended in a wink of eye... ...

My Life has recently has been dedicated to more of a food and beauty blog but i would still pen my thoughts here. Though the frequency of writing my diary is not as often as i wrote them in the past, at times, i do feel that one shouldn't neglect our thoughts or brush them off like 'they are not a big deal'.

Really, coming to a stage where i am 25 this year, life is more than what our daily routine encompasses. I have been promoted to an Aunt to a little cute princess, looking forward to my mum's fine culinary skills after a day at work (which i never appreciate them when i was much younger), chatting with my brother over his "O" Level woes, hearing to my dad's story of heated exchange in his office, enjoying weekend brunch and dinner with my loved ones. It could not be more fulfilling without your loved ones at your side.

And i grow, they grow too; which explicitly means that the time together is getting shorter. Sometimes i could not but just wonder how much time do we have left for each other? My mum and dad are reaching the age of retirement and I was only 23 when i felt i could give them a slightly better life. There is so much more i hope i could do for them. P

Perhaps many things are pre-destined that i shouldn't be thinking too much right now.

After a day's work, i reached home during the late evening. It was just another typical day for a working adult, or to say, a newly graduate working adult (i was out of school for 2 years only!).

During dinner, I had a little convo with my granny. She said to me that 'you have to eat more, women will stop growing at age 25'. I told her that ' I had already stopped growing when i was 21, otherwise i wouldn't be that short'. I know that any further talks will lead to more allegations and so, i didn't continue.

3 months probation period is over. Hopefully next month i know that i will be confirmed by my boss.

Time flies. And now we are reaching near end year. Looking back on what i did last year, i could still remember clearly. Last year was the start of my 2nd year in RMIT. We went school as usual , took exams and work for my aunty during holiday. Now that i look back, life as a student wasn't that difficult isn't it? We've been through the hardship of being a student: handing up assignment on time, getting to the library to find research material, stay on com 24/7 to get assignments done, travelling from east to west for school, getting up early for school. My life in uni wasn't much happening as poly. Uni life in Singapore wasn't very much expected to be fun or exciting. All day we were just thinking to pass the assignments with good marks, and comparing ourselves with other students.

But when im working now, i missed my days as a student, where i can get student discounts for foods, movies and shopping. I missed the days where i have my off days during weekdays. I missed the days when my afternoons are free. I missed the days of a carefree life without to think how to deal with people or talk to them in a matured manner.

Life has changed.

Last year, i broke up a 5 years relationship with my ex and at first i though i was crazy to be so hard hearted. But thinking back, i think i will be crazy if i hadn't done so. I met someone better and tell myself that everyone deserves a good man and a good woman.

Last year, my sis graduated from MDIS and i was happy for her. I wasn't there at her ceremony as there isn't enough tickets for me. But after her graduation ceremony, mum had to go to hospital to do her operation . It's her third operation and i hope that things will get better for her every year.

My parents are aging. Over the years, they did many things for us, giving us home, shelter and love. They gave me some survival kit such as education certificates and cooking skills and many others.

In fact, we are spoilt. But spoilt in a different way. My sister and my brother don't really ask for branded clothes or bags, a pink bedroom filled with hello kitty stuffs, a television in the bedroom, neither do we ask for a single bedroom for all of us. Mum and dad gave us the basics for living conditions. And i felt it was good enough. When i think about dad is reaching retirement age next year, i  had just flash back that i was a little kid, asking for mcdonald breakfast every sat morning after tuition. I still had my digimon with me now since the day dad bought for me. I kept in nicely and its still in good condition.

When i saw the card which my parents written for me on my grad day, i suddenly felt that i had grown up and i know they did their best responsibility as my parents. Now its time to do something for them, things that i am capable of, to do something for them in return.

People could say that its the parents responsibility to provide everything for their child. If they gave birth to you, they must give you everything because the parents owe their child's life. This is just bullshit and only nonsensical people will think of it.

I believe people from my age will feel the same as me.

Oh yes! Its Wednesday finally! Weekend is coming.. How are you guys doing?

Right now, im masking. Dear is working right now and im here relaxing. Don't get me wrong, dear started his work late today , so he has to end late.

Thanks dear .. For blogging once a while:) All things need maintenance. Just like blogging, weight, face :p and love. Xiong played his part to maintain our blog, just like how he maintain our love.

It hasn't been easy for me for last one year, facing my past relationship and new one. That was why we broke up after one month and started again this year.

We started afresh.

He was a different person whom i know initially. As friend, he is someone who is shy, quiet. For people who know him enough, he is someone who is can joke with, play with, talk a lot and a good listener. However as a lover, he is matured, serious, not lacking any of his qualities as a joker and a good listener.

Right dear, many other factors encompasses love, not just deep affection. That was only part of it. As couples, we guide each other and work together hand in hand, to maintain relationship, bringing out the best of your loved one. It was easy to say but how many of us could actually do it?

I know i failed previously. I was not matured enough to see most of those that dear had mentioned in previous post. Its only in failed relationship i do see what was wrong. He taught me what should be correct and how it should be. I do not want to end up like what happened in my 1st relationship.

It was a painful experience.

As i grow older, i see that love takes many forms. Your lover not only plays the role of lover, but as your companion and friend as well. Someone who will really be there for you when you need him, a good listener, a soul mate and someone whom you see as your home. Not as a refugee camp but a man who can protect you from harm.

If a man gives you a home to stay, the woman provides the warmth. Nothing is perfect if one of them is missing.

I think i have kind of understand what love is :) Thanks dear, for showing me how it looks like.

What's love?
i have been asking myself this qns and what i found online is : An intense feeling of deep affection
However, it's you who made me realise a more detailed definition of love..

To me, Love is...
Patience - when i will wait, no matter how long it takes, for you to accept me ..
Never give up - although we have to end after 1 month after 090711...
Supportive - be there for you when you are not feeling good..
Commitment - spending time tgt even when we are busy
Sacrifice - the TIME, to see you from everyday to less than 3times per week
Happiness - having many memories we share... jb trips... fly kite...
Understanding - your busy work schedule (still improving on this...)
Sincere - to plan everything to the best..
Silly - laughing over silly matters
Fun - going difference places we have not been to
Surprises - birthday celebration, anniversary
Forever - planning our future... BTO... Savings plan..
Caring - taking care of each other physically and mentally
Communication - talking about work, general stuff and listening to each other
Going through thick and thin tgt - from 2011 -> 2012
..........
........
......
....
..
.
and the list go on.... rather than just a simple "feeling of deep affection"

Dear, i am not good in words but would like you to know that i can do anything for u if its within my capabilities.. hope our memories will always be there till we are old..
Specially write this post for u before i go to bed...Nites nites.. love you.. muackz...

Another start of the week. 4more days to weekend. Yong sheng wedding is coming on this Sunday. I got to prepare Ang bao soon haha. His girlfriend and him have been walking for years since. If I am no wrong, even before I know him since the poly days. I believed they have gone through a lot.  And to their very day, I know both of them held each other tightly till they are apart.

I'm happy for them.

Then again, there are people who don't treasure their relationship until they lost the other half. These people had taken their another half for so granted that they thought the other half will be their for their rest of their lifes. I had once thought that too. But sometimes times just make everything clear to you. Is the life I want, the life I want to live forever with him? To forever feel inferior and made him feel that I can't live on without him? For him? Withstand and say sorry for all the mistakes that he did whenever words are twisted? I had enough. And so I made my choice. There are people who frown and supported my decisions. Then again, when things did not turn out the way they want, they got hatred, revengeful. Yes, all my friends know who the person I'm referring to is.

I do not have to hide or do anything, but maybe just share some mini miny photo with my friends. I believe photo tells more than a thousand word. And the reason why im doing this is not to destroy his name or whatsoever. If i wanted to do this, all of the messages have been published long ago. All of it.

The reason im doing this is because i had gave in too much to all nonsenses i had put up with. I did not make a single noise or squeak a little to this man who have been sending me 'weird' messages.

I HAD ENOUGH!! You f*****!!

Ladies, if a guy threatens you like this, leave them for good, for every woman deserves a good man to dote on.

I am 'message-ly' abused. Perhaps this form of abuse is kinda new and interesting for iphone n android made messages free. Haha.

I have limits to my patience. 我不吭声不代表我是只病猫. You have yet to see what i am capable of. Don't test me.

This post is not children any younger than 18. I am just here to vent my frustrations out of what i had bottled inside. Elvina hasn't changed a bit.

Graduation is over. I am officially a grad. Life continues after grad, working n saving. Today i had to go back office to count my stocks. I wasn't paid though, but i did my part as an employer. And a responsible one. I want a pay rise :x

After going office today, dear brought me to ocbc to open my saving account. He told me that i have over ask. But its better to ask mire rather than less when it comes to my money. They are my hard earn money. After settling my account, we went to queue up for mee soto n mee ayam at the bedok hawker center. The food was nice that i dont mind queueing up again the next time.

As today xiong had to work, i went to Chinatown to meet my babe to shop for something. I reached home at about 4 plus. N since been braiding bracelet till now. I like the bracelet i make haha. But giving them away to friends.

Tomorrow i will be meeting up my babes to take photo at  garden by the bay. Just another short post for today,

In a blink of eye, i had completed my degree.

I could still remember the day when ceyi and i had applied RMIT in 2009 where both of us chose our course together. We were enrolled in 2010 and during the 1st day of registration, we met Sharon. Ever since the first day, we were together almost everyday for lesson, lunch and projects. And now, all of us had graduated. Sharon had graduated with degree with distinction. Congratulations to her ^^

Last month, i had requested leave for my convocation today. In the morning, I woke at about 9am. I was pretty excited as I had waited for this moment since years ago. Mum made delicious breakfast for me and had a cup of chocolate. At 10am, i get myself prepared, wearing my skirt and long sleeve shirt. And by the time the clock struck 11am, i was all prepared to go :) Dear was in his white shirt and jeans. Trying to match his shirt colour with me :P

As morning was raining, Ceyi reached school very early, avoiding slow traffic. As for us, we reached there at a the intended time. Sharon was very late though haha. We registered at grand hall and went to another room to get dressed. SIM had hired people to put on the robe for us. For the very first time, i saw myself looking very smart, wearing that harry potter gown and mortar. The mortar was heavy on my head.

I walked out of the room, and started taking photos with my dad and mum , friends and of course my boyfriend.

When the ceremony was starting, all of us, be it guests or graduands, were walking into the grand hall. The whole ceremony was of course serious. But many grads were just sitting there playing phone, busy whats apps and sms while me, i took out a nugget to eat. I was hungry :x The speech was long, monotonous. But i believe its meant to be in this way for all graduations.

After the whole session ended, its time to go down for reception. Its the tea break time!! All of the guests were so hungry that those foods were snatched up within minutes. Mum and dear fed me with food because i was busy holding my flowers and graduation bear. Mum bought me a rilakkuma bear and dear bought me flowers. Dad wrote my graduation card too. I was very touched  and happy, for once in my life.. my dad was there to see me on my graduation day.

My babes were also there for me today. I couldn't be there for them because i had started my work. I took some pretty photos with them too. I was very grateful that they made time for me today. Cause they are my babes!

Last but not least, my dear was here for me too. He drove us to school, helped me took pretty photos, carried my bag for me like my PA, took food for me, fed me too, adjust my gown and many more! I really appreciate his willingly to do these for me. Thanks dear :P Muackz

At night, We had family dinner at jumbo seafood restaurant at indoor stadium. I was really very very happy today! I shall upload some photos another day.

In one weeks time, i will be turning 23. Time passes so fast that just a moment ago, i had applied for my graduation ceremony on 23rd august. Looking back, i felt that everything had just happened too fast. I enrolled in rmit during 2009, with ceyi. We took the same course together. Both of us were so determine those years, to get a degree after diploma. We started school in 2010 and ended the 2.5 years course only few months ago. Then we met sharon, and the three of us just stick together throughout our uni days. We complained together, eat together and go home together. There's so much fun, as well as complaints. And we had been through many crazy assignments, crazy projects, crazy midnight oils just to get all assignments done. We learnt to use photocopied machines and photocopied all textbook because all of us were too poor to get even one. We sacrifice our weekend just to go school at times for an 3 hours lesson. And at times, skip lectures together and chased after bus 74 to get to Dover. At time, we scan our matric card for one another if any of us skipped lessons. So many so many crazy things.

Though the three of us always complains about workload, school's lousy management, stupid timing, lectureers' teaching, at the end, all these will just end up as memories. And what's more funnier, is that, somehow, these bad experiences becomes our good memories. Those young days are over, im missing school life. The times when we did our crazy stuffs only happen during school days. I bet i can never be as crazy again

Its 3rd of july. My blog has already turned one! Time flies. And now its the 2nd week into my job. So far so good. Boss has been very nice to us but he has a very high standard. Things have to be spick and span, organised. No messy jobs at all. Perhaps it is good in a sense that we will maintain things in order. But what's most afraid was that people might have difficulties working with him.

One third of my time had gone into office and naturally, office has become my 2nd home. Until now, not many things has to be done for me as i guess, i will be busy when all those things had been settled. For 5 days, I will be eating out for lunch. I can really get sick and tired of it. The food out there wasn't as nice as a simple home cook dinner. You only appreciate such things as you get older. Kids now a days never know how lucky they are. I remember the days when i used to prefer eat out when my mum cooks, not eating those dishes that i dislike and threw away unfinished food in secret. Its until when i hit the age of working, i realise..... Home cook is not just a simple meal, its warmth that my mum gives us since young, to tell us that this is home, a shelter that keeps us safe and happy. Sadly to say, kids in these days are so pampered that they take happiness for granted. Even at this age, some adults never grow to understand.

Its also been weeks since i last jogged. Dear has also been starting his jogging regime. Im off to jog now!

Yesterday, my family and i had went to mouth restaurant at city square mall to have our afternoon tea. I had bought a $50 voucher online and had finally used it all up yesterday. The food there was still alright but the custard bun did not come though we had ordered 2 plates of it. After finishing our meal, all of us went to ah po house. After that, sis, darren, me and dear went to bedok point to sing K! End off the day with dear's kiss :x

There's always up and down in life, like you said. In life, we took a gamble and the choices that we lived. By living on, we are actually gambling. No matter how risky we take, we still have to live with it. You have no time to regret, because you can only reflect and move on.

I got bored of my studies today and i went down to esplanade for a while. I was walking alone, sight-seeing. Families brought their children out, tourists busy taking photos, couples smiling at each other, sportsmen jogging along the pavement, it was a beautiful day out. I strolled along the singapore river, taking some photos under nice weather and helping couples to take photos, it was jus relaxing. No stress nothing, just people leading how their lives should be. I went to watch some performance at the central stage of esplanade. Javaense dance is rather unique. The dance gentel and powerful, demons look scary. Nice makeup!
After that went to have my dinner at artease. Bird force me to eat. But it was yummy yummy
Ah~~~ My mocha ice blended ^^
Hehe, our photo again~~ Nice photo we got today! Bird came to fetch me home after i had finish watching the performance. Don't give up yea Bird! Preserve on! It maybe your lowest at this point of time, but soon, u will see differences de! Things will get better ok? Jia you! ^^
