And yes, it was 19 Oct 2013. I was very busy on this day, being the bridesmaid. My sis had appointed me, Esther and Jia wen to be the bridesmaids for her day. We woke up at 4.30am in the early early morning, shifting the furniture and tables around the living room, making space for tea ceremony. I got my make up dome at 6.30am and food preparation at 7 am.

WE had prepared some games for my brother in law:

Activity 1

Answer 15 questions. Each wrong answer follows by a punishment.  酸甜苦辣. As i did not have enough time to take any photos, i assigned my brother to be the camera man for the day. Darren reached our house at 7.45am, late for 15 minutes, giving us less time to play him and his brothers. His brother turned up in white shirt with pink bow. They looked kinda cute >.<  And the game goes... ...

My brother in law got quite a few questions wrong. His brother took in all the food prepared by us. I believed the foods tasted okay as they say the foods were nice o.o Come on, its the bride who saved your lives!

Activity 2,

Using straws to 拼 19-10-13.

It was very easy, providing them with the necessary tools. Within few minutes, they had completed their mission but as time was running out, we had no choice but to provide them with the key. It was a pretty simple gate crashing.

But before he entered the room, he had to read aloud the contract:

After everything ended., he opened the door... ... Finding his bride was kinda easy for him though hehe.

After that, my sis and brother in law prayed to our ancestors, telling my great grandparents that he is marrying my sister and hoping they would have their blessing. Then, it was time for Tea Ceremony. My aunties and uncles took turns to be served while I stand their helping my sister to collect ang baos. However, my sister received lots of gold instead of ang baos. The Tea Ceremony ended very quick as my family is small.

My family!

My 4th uncle family!

The Wangs

With the Hans

All of us!
So, we began leaving home at 9am. We were on time! I sat the brothers' car to punggol as the newly wedded couple needed to go to drop by the temple before moving on to brother in law house. Meantime, my love was appointed to collect roast pig on brother in law instruction. After a while, we had finally reached his house.

His house was so lively and packed with people. His family is really huge. My brother in law told me: Mei, what you see is only half of my family.

I was shocked.

I had almost no place to stand.

Oh anyway, they began tea ceremony after his mum prayed to their ancestors. Then Tea ceremony began... ... To what i notice, their family gave all ang baos instead of gold. When the tea ceremony was over, the kids lined up to receive ang baos from them...

Brother in law parents

While they were having tea ceremony, my cousins and I were outside eating the Jumbo buffet. We were so hungry because we did not had anything in the morning. That was our only free time!

I brought some food to my sis as she was quite hungry too. Her gown made her kinda immobile.

Their new room!
It was a short rest before we set out to go home again. The brother carried the heavy roasted pigs well to our house. Though i do not understand the meaning of this, i guess it is some kind of must-thing to do.

The boys carrying the roasted pig.
Somehow the weather wasn't shining us. When we walked out of the lift, It was raining heavily. Perhaps it was a flash rain. It ended very quickly. I sat on dear's car going home. On our way home, he had a bad stomachache. He was tolerating the pain until he reach my house carpark.

As they came back only for a while, we did not manage to take many photos.

At the dinner, my mum and i had to reached the hotel at 4.00pm. Due to some delay, we were only there at 4.30pm.  Brother's in law's mum and sis were already doing their make up. Mum and i were waiting for thei turn. Meantime, their grandmother entertained us.

When my makeup was done, I looked like this:

My makeup

My hair

And with my love.

My mum

My dad wasn't around so he was out of the picture. I sat at the receptionist, guiding the guests to their seats and asking them if they needed any parking complimentary. It was rather a challenging task to be at the recept. Some guests came without their names as my sister had missed them out. very sorry to those guys!
Photo of the day

After the dinner, all ends well and we went home. My sister will be stay with their in-laws from now on. I definitely missed her as much as my family does. May she and brother in law stay blissful forever!

The 4 sisters

The aunties

Not forgetting the flasher of the day!

It was a very tiring day, helping my sis to her guo da li and stuffs like that. But the tiredness was all worth it :)

It doesn't feel good when technology died on me after i typed a long post.

I am getting more workload as more business coming to us. The 9-6pm happy hours are already over when business expand. There are definitely more to add ......

October is a month of busy-ness as my beloved sis is getting married next weekend. There are lots of things to do but we haven get anything done yet. My room is very much still in a mess with things piling up everywhere. Hope that my off day can do some wonders but i doubt it would change much.
Weekend was over pretty quick and let me re-cap the weekend...

Saturday was a fine good day as i had agreed to go jb with dear and his colleagues. In the wee hour, i meant 6.30am, dear woke me up, telling me to get changed as we need to leave at 7.30am. I was good and i got prepared by 7.15an. However, the weather was very nasty to us. It rained so heavily that we thought that most of the activity had to be cancelled.

We were punctual at the meeting place where his colleague picked us up from the bustop. His colleague,ah heng, drove us and colleagues to JB. There were a total of  29 people on 4 separate cars going to the same place. It took about 45 minutes to clear the custom. It was considered fast according to ah heng.

We met the rest at shell petrol station before going to have bak tuk teh at soon fa. Our brunch was yummy and satisfying. Then, we headed to our 2nd destination: Go-Cart.

The go cart was located somewhere quite very off the city as we needed to pass by the platation. The 4 cars winded through the small bumpy road, travelling at only 30km/h. There were stones, pitholes, cows and abandoned houses. It was quite a sight.

After the long treacherous road, we finally reached the place.

The price for each adult is RM35 for 10 minutes ride. It was so cheap! Imagine they charged playing the price of $35 in Singapore dollar per adult. The circuit was bigger and challenging.

Dear played 2 rounds of it as i know he quite like it. As for me, im not up again because it was my second day of menses.

If you are interested, this is the place:  Plentong Karting Circuit Lot 1195 Jalan Bunga Matahari Taman Plentong Bahru Johor Bahru.

It is worth to visit again!

After playing a few rounds, we decided to leave for another place:  paintball.

We grabbed some pau on the way and were ready to go to the battlefield.

The boys came well prepared, with their gears and uniform on. They were like so ever ready to play this game and get bruised. All off them took their guns and load bullets like a pro.

And me?! I sat there with May and Candy to look after the things. It was quite a good experience feeding blood to the mosquitos. Haha!

The guys came back with paints splattered at their helmet and some welcomed brusies.

After few hours of play, they returned their gears and went for a bath near the battlefield. It was refreshing after the bath! A day ended with dinner at cedar point and off we returned to sin!

The next day was kinda slow as i accompanied my sis to her trail make up.

Adding 2 layers of fake eyelashes had made her eye electrifying. I should try putting 2 layers of eyelashes too!!

I will try that one day!!

Signing off!

Our weekend was over in a blink of eye.

Its was one of the weekend where dear n i enjoyed the same off days. However, the time passed really fast that i felt that i did not have enough time for him.

During the weekends, we visited a temple in punggol, a movie at bugis, our fave eatery at jalan kayu, to granny house and some shopping in orchard area.

The mimi eyes!

I shall blog a bit today.

My cousin, Sean, finally got married yesterday after a long relationship with hisgirlfriend, Dorinda. I've seen her since i was 16. I was only in secondary 4 the other time. Our school had brought all of us to Singapore Poly to view the life of being a poly students. As i had no intention to go into JC, it was definitely a good chance to see how it was like.

When we entered business, i met Mabel. All of us were so young then. She told me my cousin had a girlfriend. And so, i was very surprised! She brought me over to say hi to her.

That was our 1st impression. Since then, we did not see her until few years ago. They had been together for 8 years!

Come on, its time to get married!

I went to do my hair in the evening to prepare for the dinner. But somehow, my hair ended up not i expect it to be:

I keep feeling that i looked like an aunty. The hair spray was so much that i couldn't even flip my hair.

And i look fat.

Way fat.

Now, let's see a photo of the bride and groom.

Sorry for the take. It was blur ! Zzz

Anyway, i look really fat in all photo.

My cousin had their wedding in Marriott Hotel at CK Tangs. Its was a medium size ballroom with an estimated 35 tables. The chairs are nicely decorated. The foods are delicious and free flow of beer, white and red wine!!

The settings are plain but the foods are really delicious!

Though it was a long day for them, but i can see that they had really planned everything well. The video are nicely planned and taken. Though their story was very mushy, but the short skit had really told  audience their love story.

I wonder how my wedding will be and how Wei Xiong will have planned those things in the future.

I will be expecting something good from you honey^^

Happy holiday is over. My brother woke up early in the morning to go to school. And so to my dear. His school starts today and he needs to go back to school! He got his results back and manage to scrap through those tough papers. Wei Teck is graduating this year but not to our Wei Xiong, he needs to go through 1 more year.

This is your final year honey! Just a few more month and you will be graduating! When you graduated, let's take a photo together ^^

Work has been quite the usual. But quite the unusual was that, my colleague was selected to be one of the five finalist for Kose ambassador! I am really happy for her. Guys, let's cast all the votes for her here! Other than that, work has been really usual.

がんばって!

Just some updates!

I made a trip up to far east last weekend and visited :

Hair Profile.

It is located on the first floor of far east. It wasn't difficult to find as it was the only hair salon on the ground floor. I had estimated to spend $200 on my hair, which includes having a good dye and giving it a trim. The guy who served me was the leading stylist.

At my first thought, i thought he was just an assistant (newbie) who only knows the minimum. His name was Nesley. But for god sake, he has 10 years of experience in this field and definitely knows how to manage my hair. Definitely someone with great skills. The way he straighten my hair was like, my hair has never been so pretty before!

But anyway, back to topic. He cut my hair, blew them dry and started dying. When i spent $115 for dye, he gave me a free treatment while looking at my dear getting a haircut.

At the end of 3-4 hours, this is the result:

And him..

He did not have an angrument with the hair stylist but the hair stylist interpret in the wrong way.

Though u look like a punk now, i still love you.

I shall blog using my iphone today.

A monday blue. As there's lots of work to do, i had to stay back a little while. As i was running late for my driving lesson, boss sent me back. I had really appreciate his helpfulness and i will wirk harder for conpany ^^.

I liked my weekend as always. Last Friday the 4 of us stayed back in office to receive our goods. Dear could help out and helped us carry those goods, but he was late. Anyway, he was treated to dinner despite not helping out :x

On Saturday, i did my washing n stuffs, waiting for dear to end his work. He worked the morning shift and must be pretty tired, yet i tired him out even more.
We had dinner at 7th month dinner at his void deck. There are a range of goods to be bidded for, from electronics stuffs to bicycle.

Neighbours will gather together and eat, drink, bidded for those goods displayed on top. And sonetimes, you wil need to sit with strangers and eat with them. It could be kind of embarrassed.

On sunday, dear and i participated a half army marathon , starting from esplanade bridge to pandang. Dear and i had trained for quite a while for this marathorn. The both of us finished the marathon at 41 minutes. We could have took a shorter time if not only there's bottle neck at the helixbridge. At the end of the marathon, we were given a medal for our participation.

We woke up really in the early morning for this!

See how shagged we looked after the marathon!

We came home at about 10am and head out at brunch at stranger reunion. The menu wasn't exceptionally appetising and but i guessed people went there for the ambience.

The waffle is really nice!
Truffle fries!
