Hi readers! I am finally back from Taiwan.

This year had been a good year. Travelling to Taiwan 3 times, going to Bangkok and Batam. Life has never been this great!

The taiwan trip was suggested by my boss during August. In October, we bought the tickets and we were be travelling to Taiwan on 19 Dec till 22 Dec. I bought the SIA tickets using boss's credit card.

Again, life has never been good so far.

On the early morning of 19th Dec, Bii drove me to the airport. He picked me up at 5.50am and we reached at 6.00am. As we did on-line check-in 1 day before, i queued up to exchange for my airticket and checked in my luggage. In just few minutes, it was done and bii and i had breakfast at yakun toast at B2.

Upon leaving, bii kissed me good-bye and told me to take care. I walked into the departure hall and started buying cigar o.o Anyway, i met the rest of my colleagues inside the boarding area.

Pictures tells a thousands of words.. Yup! as you can see. This year, my dear bought me a money clipper/wallet as a christmas gift for me. I alws told her i have nothing that i need. But in fact, i got thought of changing my wallet le.. and as far as i remb correctly, this is the first time i received wallet as a gift. Thanks dear! :D

Hi guys!

Back for some updates! Commando Challenge was over and dear and his friends definitely had some sun-down yesterday. I, the audience was sitting there waiting for them to complete their race and taking care of their barang barang.

Their race started at 2pm. There was lots of people from different countries crowding around. Not to say, there were many ang mo drinking and cheering at the participants.

After they packed up, we moved to a comfortable spot and laid down our bags. Off they gone for their commando challenge.

Along the way, i saw ninja turtle, Santa clause and some funny characters. It was really fun to be an audience after all.

After a full 2 hours, brother before hoes finally appeared. One by one walked in slowly, tired.

Well, she is the reason why.

Her name is Vanessa. A bubbly and sweet little girl. We never knew Tee Peng likes sweet looking girls. Welcome to the family hahaha! She is the reason why Tee Peng never has a perfect shot in all photo.

After 4km of run and hurdles, the challenge had finally end for them. They were all filled with mud and soil and leaves and anything you can find on them. They washed themselves up with the water taken from a nearby drinks stall. And suddenly, they were splashing water at each other -.- Anyway, after a wash up, they changed into a clean top and took a nice photo to end the day.

Now now... Bii.. where are you looking at now?

At night, we had a simple dinner at Compass point ajisan and went to Tee Peng's house for a visit.

It was a fun-filled day!

Commando Challenge

I wanted a day off. Always wanted a day off to spend time with my dear. And i finally applied my leave on 10 dec.

I dolled myself up , wore some pretty outfit and was ready to meet him. I wasn't late at all.

We had some nice brunch at Tim Ho Wan in Plaza Singapura. It was a long wait. We queued and waited for a full 30 minutes before stepping into the restaurant. The place were pretty smsll and all the customers were practically squeezing together. The menu was limited and so dear and i had made our choices fast. The foods were served shortly and we started munching at the polo bun.

This is the legenday char xiu bao they mention. It was worth dying for!

Dear brought me to Gort Canning to pa tuo! Wahh.. Romantic right? I said i wanted to visit the meusum and there we were!

There were few exhibitions to visit. They have exhibition on history of singapore, 50 years of TV, food, art appreciation, fashion etc. It took us a while to complete visiting all the exhibits but sadly, we did not manage to visit all.

Evening was approaching. We had a short walk at Fort Canning before leaving for dinner and movie.

Dear drove back to plaza singapura again and we ate our dinner at Just Acia. Caught a movie called Old Boy, originated from korea movie.

It was R21. There were some sexual scenes and some gore. But it wasn't as much blood spurting as i expected, unlike final distination.

However, in all american movies, there are always sexual scene with a forty year old and some young looking girl.

Such a complete turn off to me. But nevertheless, it was a nice movie.

Another week past and we are approaching near end of December.

A month of festive season where shopping malls are decorated with red and green colors. I love this month, where we celebrate a year of hard work and a month where i would love to take a day off to accompany my loved ones.

This upcoming season i will be busy. More meet up with my babes, my poly mates, my fyp, not forgetting my family.

Whats more exciting is that dear and i will be going to Taiwan again next year! I am every so looking forward for next year to come!

Last Thursday, we celebrated Uncle's birthday at Chin Lee restaurant at Bedok North. The food was decent and Xiong's elder brother ordered a lot of foods. They ate at an amazing fast speed, leaving me the last to finish my food. As always! After singing birthday song and cutting the cake, we took a photo together. I realized i was getting fat >.<

Thank you for the nexus 7 32gb lte version. This is my awesome christmas present this year! I love it a lot!

Actually , I had plans to get nexus 7 at this Sitex fair. Dear and I were walking about the Asus booth to look for the prices for Nexus 7. All of the booth were selling Nexus at $529 with different freebies. When I was about to give up my hunt, I saw this Harvey Norman booth stating "ask for best price ".

I decided to check it out.

As the booth says : ask the best price. I did as I was told and asked for best price. I told the lady that I didn't need the freebies as they were not compatible.

She decided to give me $502.xx . At first, I thought it was indeed a good offer after looking too much prices at $529. However, i felt that the price could be even lower. I decided to walk away. I told dear that we should go to Courts as courts often offer unbeatable prices. But too bad, courts did not sell Asus gadgets. So we walked to Best denki. Thinking that they do not offer low prices, I had decided to skip them. Dear was telling me to just ask for it since we were already there. I did just what I was told.

Who know... the lady at Best offered $499 without the freebies! I was utterly surprised with that price as I did not expect the price for Nexus to fall below $500. She told me to go back to her if I want the product. I wanted to go back the hayvey norman sa that best offered me $499. But being such a nice person, I did not reveal the price of best to them.

So once more, I asked for the best price from harvey norman.

This time, a guy told me $480 without freebies.

I was stunned.

Unbelievable

Dear thought that he had heard the price wrongly.

But its true ! In the end, I purchased my nexus at the price of $495 with cover and one screen protector. Too good to be true.

So the moral of the story is, you can haggle price with Harvey norman at Sitex!
